Dusk-Man returns

I nearly forgot to mention this, but a certain collaboration between your author and one Jay Pinkerton detailing the origin of a particular caped crusader and world's greatest detective has been posted at Cracked.com in a digitally remastered version less likely to attract the notice of DC Comics' attorneys. Click here to see part one of the Dusk-Man origin story.

While you're at it, if you missed it, you might want to click here to see the adventures of Stupendous Man, the last son of Klipton.

"Who will tell me to shut up now?" is still the funniest thing that the mommy could be saying and the funniest line in the comic.

I can truthfully claim that line as my own, I'm pleased to say.

I wouldn't know about any lawyers calling about this, although Jay heard from Marvel about his Spiderman parodies. Legally, his Spiderman comics and our Batman and Superman comics are defensible as parodies. But a large company can always crush the little guy with even a frivolous lawsuit. So Jay and Cracked have taken the prudent route by changing enough things around that no one could possibly confuse it with the real article. Except maybe the BBC.
